Welcome to The Berkeley Blend. These terms cover how appointments, deposits, cancellations, and services work at the studio. By booking an appointment, you agree to the terms below. Questions? Reach out any time at (408) 349-3079 or @theberkeleyblend.
Booking Appointments
Appointments are booked online through Square Appointments. New guests and returning guests have separate booking flows so you land on the right service and timing. New color and extension guests may be asked to complete a short consultation before their first full service.
Card on File & Deposits
A valid card is required to reserve your appointment and is securely held on file through Square. Your card is not charged at booking except where a deposit applies. Deposits may be required for color, blonding, and extension services and are applied toward your service total.
Cancellations & No-Shows
- Please give at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule.
- Cancellations inside 48 hours may be charged a fee of up to 50% of the reserved service.
- No-shows may be charged up to 100% of the reserved service and may be asked to prepay for future bookings.
Life happens — if something comes up, reach out as early as you can and we'll do our best to work with you.
Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time so your full service can be completed. Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may need to be shortened or rescheduled, and the full service price may still apply.
Extensions & Consultations
Extension services require a consultation before booking so the right method, length, and hair can be selected. Because extension hair and materials are custom-ordered, extension deposits are non-refundable. A liability and aftercare waiver is required before any extension service begins.
Pricing
Listed prices are starting points. Final pricing depends on hair length, density, condition, and the time and product your service requires, and is confirmed at your consultation or at the start of your appointment.
Service Satisfaction
Your happiness matters. If something isn't right, let us know within 7 days of your appointment and we'll make it right with an adjustment. Refunds are not offered on completed services, as time and product have been used.
Right to Refuse Service
The Berkeley Blend reserves the right to decline or discontinue service — including for scalp or hair conditions that make a service unsafe, or for behavior that is disrespectful to the stylist or studio.
